Computer restarts two minutes after Windows Update

Hello,
After a windows update one of my computers is rebooting after about 3 minutes. It will reboot in safe mode, while waiting at the sign in screen, and after signing in. I unchecked the “Automatically Restart” box in My Computer Properties so I could read the BSOD. I now get a BSOD "Stop: 0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 0x86B5F348, 0x86B5F4BC, 0x80605780)"
I am not able to see what was updated in the "add remove programs" for lack of time before BSOD.
The update was during the weekend of Sep. 10, 2011

My computer is an Acer Veriton M460
CPU: Dual Core E5200 @ 2,5 Ghz
Motherboard: Acer EG31M
Ram Speed, size and #sticks: 1 stick 1 Gig @ 2.5 Ghz
GPU: Onboard Intel G33/G31
PSU (do not leave this out): Stock FSP Group Inc Model ATX-250PA
OS: WinXP SP2

Thanks for your help

If you are still running XP Service Pack 2 it is time to update XP to Service Pack 3. First, try doing a system restore to an earlier date before you applied the last update. You may have other malware issues too
