Computer running slow

I'm running Microsoft Edge. I have the latest McAfee Total Protection. When I'm on the internet the computer seems to run slower than normal. When I'm typing nothing will appear on the screen then all of a sudden it will all be there. What's going on and what do I need to do?

Disable McAfee, quit your browser, restart it and retest

If J.O.B. hasn't identified most likely culprit (McAfee), then it might be a maintenance issue - like dust accumulation, etc.

It just started a few weeks ago. I'll do a complete clean including a can of air. It's like watching someone do a one finger search and type. Very annoying.
