Configuring LAN for gaming through CLI

Hi there,

I'm looking for some advise on how to configure a LAN on a Cisco 887 through the CLI.
We are trying to set up a LAN party, we have given the vlan the ip address 192.168.1.1 and the computers ip within this network. We are able to ping each computer and the router but cannot set up a game. What additional configuration is needed? We have basic networking knowledge but are at a loss for how to make this work.

Kind Regards,

@Frozwire is spot on. the system hosting the game needs the firewall router port forward for the game port.

[edit]OOPS
*IF* the clients need unrestricted UDP too, then each and everyone on the lan needs port forward too.
A router can only port forward to ONE system.

All systems (hosting server and all the client gamers), need the firewall to open inbound UDP for the game ports

Sorry for the confusion
