I'm going to upgrade my computer, but I'm conflicted as to what to buy.

I've narrowed it down to this (i'm not taking suggestions for anything else, just your opinion on these two.) I already have a video card (XFX 8600GT 512mb,) cpu cooler (Rosewill rcx-z940-sl,) case, psu, dvd/cdrw, SATA WDC 320gb, fans etc...

Biostar Tforce 8200 A2+, phenom 9600, 2gb (2gbx1,) patriot DDR2 800
(faster processor, Hybrid sli capable,)

or:

Biostar Tpower N750 SLI, Athlon 64x2 5000+, 4gb (2gbx2,) Gskill DDR2 800
(better upgradability, real sli capable, all solid capacitors, cheaper)

problem is, sli is more power hungry, along with that processor (125W, phenom is 95W,) so I would be limited on video card upgrades with my 500W psu. I could get a faster processor, stick with 1 8600GT, and eventually upgrade to a 9600GT or something, or get a slower processor, more ram, and get another 8600GT and sli them.

WHAT TO DO???

Of coarse, someone responds the day the parts arrive and I put it together...lol.

I went with the 5000+ and sli board. Happy with it, it was 234 dollars for a 5000+, 4 gigs ram, and a nice mobo, versus the other one which was 295 for the phenom, 2 gigs of ram, and a non sli mobo. There dosen't seem to really be much of a difference in speed, vista rated the 5000+ at 5.1, while many people say the phenom 9600 is rated 5.9 (which actually I think is the highest, so it's probalby faster.)
