Ok, so I have one computer and printer connected via ethernet cables to a wireless router which connects another computer wirelessly via usb adapter.

Now I have another computer that I want to connect to the same internet connection on another port in the router, however when I connect the cable from the third computer and the router nothing happens and I still cannot connect. The thir computer is using windows xp home and the other two are using windows xp professional.

Please help. I've tried creating a new network connection, but that did not work.

We need a more detailed description of your wireless router and USB adpater... in fact all the equipment you want to work together.... list how everthing now connects together.

Ok so the wireless router im using is an Atava G Router.
Connected to it is an at&t motorola modem in bridged mode.
a delll desktop computer running windows xp pro
and a samsung clx-3160 printer.

I want to know if it's possible for another computer to connect to the internet and access the printer if i plug it into another port on the modem.
