Connecting mulitple, different speakers for an entire floor

I was wondering if it was even possible to connect different speaker systems of an entire floor of people. I am living in a fraternity house next year and wanted to wire all of our different sound systems together so that when we wanted, we could play one song throughout the floor. Of course everyone will have different speaker systems. Is this possible?

You will have to buy a large PA system and connect it to only one music source to the PA AMP. You can "daisy-chain" many speakers to the amp, but the sound quaility will suffer
