Cpu core speeds jumping?

  1. Hi there i seem to have noticed my cpu core speeds jumping over the past few weeks here is a few shots of this happening

    this is the cpu as it should be

    and this is what it jumps down to
    my cpu is a 1.6ghz intel dual core

    if you think this is a CPU fault i will get it fixed asap lol

    There is probably a feature enabled within the BIOS to throttle your CPU when it's not in use or something. What motherboard do you have?
