Custom gaming pc wont boot

So about 2 weeks ago my pc shut down and wont start back up. I guess it shot down, then was able to boot once more but shut itself down again and now does not boot. When pushing the power button nothing happens at all. No fans spin. No noise. Nothing. The only sign of life is the one light at the bottom of the board signaling it had power.

My build is:
Asus z97 sabertooth mark 1
I7 4790k
Ddr3 hyper x ram 16gb
Gtx 780ti

I've done a few tests. Ive disconnected everything but the motherboard. Just leaving 1 ram stick and cpu + fan. No change

I've jumped the psu with a wire to test voltages. tested fine.

I've removed the bios battery for 30 minutes to try resetting the bios. No change.

I even bought a new psu and tried that and still no change.

I'm looking into a new motherboard but want to make sure I'm not missing anything first.

In your shoes, I would disassemble everything and rebuild outside of the case. Following each step in the motherboard manual, I would check each step by turning system 'on' and confirming I got the right 'error'. As a for instance, I have CPU installed, but no RAM - I would look for a RAM error. Once RAM is installed, I might then look for a video card error.

@jdeville well you did everything under the sun to get the thing to boot up.
Its a mobo problem that asus can "hopefully" fix or replace right without much stress or grief.
