Damaged CPU?

i was cleaning my DELL Inspiron 9100 laptop. As i removed the CPU i noticed one pin was laid sideway (might have been my own doing). Is it normal for one pin to be laid that way for any purpose or have i damaged my CPU?

Oh, and i put everything back together and the laptop won't start (NumLock light turned on for 10 sec then powers off) ...i am hoping it's not the cpu.

Anyone have an Intel P4 3.2 GHz cpu for sale?

i just finished re-solder the broken pin back to the cpu !

Except it still won't boot up ( the screen flashed for .5 second and goes black).

Can anyone tell me if my cpu is damaged or is there something else i'm missing? Thanx

Yes you can :)
As long as the Motherboard is compatible with that CPU in Ghz, and type (ie Intel; AMD; Celeron)

Anyone have an Intel P4 3.2 GHz cpu for sale?
