hey

so i'm using windows dvd maker to burn avi movie's. now ive just opned a new pack of dvd's TDK dvd +R 1-16 burn speed and now the program isnt running gets to the point where it should start burning and nothing

same with using nero sets everything up and come to the point of burning spits the dvd out saying error.

i'm doing all this on an acer extensa 7620Z with a Hitachi HTS541616J9SAD0 standard dvd drive.

is it the fact that the disk is a 16x burn speed instead of an 8x that my burner can do??

Have you used TDK dvd + R 1-16 disks (which means it should write at 8x) on your DVD burner before?

ahhh i just bought an external 22X burner instead.

does it matter the sped u brun to disk? like does it degrade the movie?

I don't think it will degrade the movie but I only burn at slower speeds anyway. A good placeI have found for answers for this kind of question is VideoHelp.com Good forum community.
