Defraggler question, Optimize?

When I open/use Defraggler on my SSD drive, it always gives me two options.

1. Optimize the drive.
2. Defrag (which I don't use on the SSD)

What is the "Optimize" option? Is it just for optimizing the drives free space? Is this OK to use on an SSD?

Optimize moves frequently used programs to the top, groups freespace in the middle, and least used programs to the far end of the disk. The thought is this makes a shorter seek to expand any changes to files.
