The laptop is a Latituade D600. The page that you have linked at the bottom doesn't tell you which "legs" to short. Either that or I am missing where is has the software available to Download. Any and all help would be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks.

Kiso

The DST and DST-CDR-ISO are software. The Additions file tells which legs to short. It is all there, but does take a bit of reading. Take your time and digest what is there before you start. Remember that you likely paid a sizeable sum for a useless laptop(presently) and if you screw up the procedure, it may still be useless when you finish.

Do the DST and DST-CDR-ISO work or is it need to be manually done with the D600? if so just burn and load into laptop. I'm comuter literate but not a brain to say the very least. Thanks

D600 wont boot

Hi ED,
Read about the problem your having...try this. See if you can go into the bios setup and if it(the comp) stays on check your memory amount. sometime the memory slot needs a little help with the memory chip and it cant access it. If thats not the problem...check the system time.... if it is off set it agian... then restart and go back in to the bios setup... if the time changes then you have a bad cmos battery. Hope it helps
