Hi @DavidBailey attached a great link. Here's another link. Some times the chipset driver needs to be installed first before other drivers install. Not sure if this is necessary for the network driver? Let us know how things go for you!

yes it is shown in device manager,with exclamation as usual.yup dell diagnostics installed but couldn't check that thing.

If it were mine,I would remove the device from device manager, cross my fingers and let PnP rediscover it after a cold boot (fully off...wait a bit...then on)

What ideas do you have to explain that?
- wrong driver?
- corrupt copy of driver?
- Dell driver finding software? - -wrong? corrupt?
- error with underlying chipset drivers?
- hardware issue with WiFi? LAN?

Saying 'driver won't install is the problem' is like saying 'rising ocean level is the problem'. It is the SYMPTOM.
