I've been trying to play Deus Ex: Game of the year edition on my old pc. I've got 512mb of Ram, a geforce 6200, and a 2.4ghz pentium 4, and I'm running Windows xp. The problem is, Deus Ex keeps randomly freezing, making it impossible to play. I've already tried running it in compatibility mode,so are there any other solutions?

Do you have an HT CPU? Try setting the affinity to Core 0 in Task Manager if you do. It may help performance.
