Device Manager's Intel ME driver version and the version that shows up on the add or remove programs are not the same. Can somebody explain why is like that? Should I remove and make a clean installation of the driver?
Latest version of the package does not support 4th generation processors. It is best for me to not to update I guess. They're different things - the IME Components file (bottom image) contains, among other things, the IME Interface driver (top image). The Components file version is newer because it's probably had updates to one or more of the other files that come with it.
You can get the latest version of the whole package here:

You could always try Intel's online scanning system to see if it has anything newer:Latest version of the package does not support 4th generation processors. It is best for me to not to update I guess.
