Drives D: E: & F: says Access is Denied, My Documents also

Hiya guys.. need ur help..


Problem:

All my drives, including C: at first, D: E: F: & My Documents cannot be accessed.

When i open my computer, and double-click on drive D: or E: or F: it says "D:\ access is denied".

But i can access the drives through the address bar. Afterthat i can access everything within that drive.

Except for My Documents, which i had placed on drive F:, when i try to open it also says "Access is Denied.", couldn't also get in even through the address bar.

it started after i downloaded sumthing, maybe it was a virus.

Also after i updated my AVG.

the Drives, i could not access first, so i tried reinstalling windows XP, also due to some virus problems. After i reinstalled, i could no longer also access My Documents.

Tried scanning it.. didn't work. I also tried the "Security" thing. Didn't work on the drives, but it worked on My Documents Folder, but i could not access everything inside My Documents.


I really need your help.. cant afford reformatting, got lots of important files on My Documents. ^__^

Restart

tried options 1 and 2

should i do all those things on the third options??

im DLing them now..
