So easy to point out where things went wrong there.
Mass Effect 3: Great game, ending was rushed though and shook customer faith. Literally the second worst ending to anything I had seen... until the last season of Game of Thrones!
Dragon Age: Inquisition: faith largely restored - it was good
Mass Effect Andromeda: Launched in almost as bad shape as Cyberpunk 2077 and the writing was mediocre. I'm a huge fan of ME1-3, I didn't even bother buying this one until it was severely discounted.
Anthem: Just chasing money now, no one asked for this game
Dragon Age: The Veil Guard: WTF did they hire for this one? Millennial humor and stereotypes, getting lectured about pronouns in a medieval'ish fantasy RPG setting? Who asked for that?
Only thing that could save the terrible writing would be if the combat/gameplay loop are excellent, but they were mediocre.
That huge budget it had, they could have saved a lot by firing a bunch of writers and consultants. Would've lowered the cost and increased the quality. Now its failure along with the one before it is why the studio is dead.
