I have no idea if Musk will win this war but all the battles are putting multiple companies, governments and other entities in a really bad light for anyone paying attention that has an ounce of independent thought. The week is yet young and already Apple is caught assisting China in suppressing dissent but also threatening to cancel Twitter app because they think free speech is a bad thing. Silencing speech across the globe with a confidence and competence that only comes from iterative progress (old hat). I'm not creative enough to come up with a way to spin that. I suspect the news will just be buried among mainstream sources as is typical. It might be harder than usual with iPhone Pros taking a lot longer to arrive due to said protests, though.

I got suspended from Twitter for quoting Maximilian Schell's role in "Judgement at Nuremberg" as a mentally disturbed person and how he was dealt with in Nazi Germany. I did it simply because the same "mentally disturbed" excuse is repeatedly used by paedophile Jihadi rapists and murderers in India to get away with milder sentences.
I don't know what Musk means when he said "free speech", but I think this is basic human rights. He may be saying a lot (true or fake I won't debate), but if there is a platform where people can talk freely, I really don't see why people will side with Apple or Google who will ban platforms that allow people to speak freely.

Let's see if I can clear that up for you, "I", (be it myself, a supermarket or Apple), am under absolutely no obligation whatever to let "you", (be that an individual or a corporation), to allow you, or Twitter, to set up a sales stand anywhere inside my store, or the grounds surrounding it which have been leased legally. In fact, there's sign for that,. It reads, "customer parking only".
Be that "property", in physical real estate, or URL address.

Free speech is being able to say crazy things like there are only two genders without getting banned.
It's strange that you can't see that the only reason this is even an issue is because the platform took advantage of their power. It's no secrete that Twitter was ran by leftist and it's no secrete that they were very biased with how they used that power.
No liberals are king of playing the victim. I mean no other people have considered not using the "proper" pronouns as violence.
