Error code 0xc0000225

My desktop pc worked fine , but I wanted to reinstall win 8 for some reason. I couldn't get it to boot from usb this time,even though I used the same bootable usb stick with win 8 on it that I used to install windows a year ago on the same pc .In the frustration I tried different BIOS settings ,legacy enabled than disabled, changed boot priority order, forced shut down many times and then I got error code 0cx0000225. Now I cant start windows ,still cannot boot from usb or cd to try to repair, I am stuck with the error code.There are 2 options on the error code screen press enter or F8, nothing is happening when I try that. Hard drive is ok, I put it in my old pc , format , reinstalled windows , it worked fine, but when I put it back, same problem. I reset BIOS but no luck. Anything else I can try before I take it to repair? I appreciate any help.

A little update : `press any key to boot from usb ` finally showed up, but I get a new code right after that

the digital signature for this file couldn't be verified

You might wish to try downloading Windows and making new installation media - all you need is your 'product key'.

I don't understand , the one I have is ok I installed it on a laptop a few days ago it works good.
