Error code 100000d1

Hey I'm having trouble, When I play the game America's Army it will last a couple of minutes then crash on me. When it crashes it actually makes a high pitch almost scratching noise through my speakers. I went into Event viewer and found this error message:

Error code 100000d1, parameter1 037586dd, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000001, parameter4 a8e065b8.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would really like to shoot my housemate in this game.

Confirm all manufacture drivers are up to date (ie your Sound driver)
