were can i get a ethernet put adapter with usb on the other end which i can plug into my laptop . on my old dinorsaur of a laptop lol i aint got a ethernet port on the back what could i use and how much & were woould i purchase one from .

not sure what country you are from but you can get pcmcia network/modem adapters or usb to nic adapters from most computer stores, best bet is check ebay or just google it.

Lots of external USB ethernet units available from a number of sources, made by LinkSys, DLink, Siemans, Netgear, Bestdata, Belkin, Cisco, and many others...
You can find them from almost any store that sells computer stuff online... e.g. www.CDW.com, www.PCMall.com, www.Directron.com, www.zipzoomfly.com, www.TigerDirect.com, www.frys.com, www.pcoutpost.com, www.outpost.com, www.newegg.com, and you can also find plenty of them on eBay, but the eBay ones may not have the instructions and drivers.
