Expoler crashes when attempting to connect to Wi-Fi?

Hello everyone, I have a problem with connecting to Wi-fi connections that aren't known on my Sony Vaio VGN-FW590F3B, running Windows 7. Every time I try to connect to the internet via my laptop's wireless, Explorer.exe (not IE) crashes and restarts. Any way to resolve this method?

I've had tried Turning my Anti-virus program off and scanning for viruses (which none was found), removing unused known networks, as well as disabling and re-enabling my Wifi driver. I appreciate any help given to correct my problem. Thank you.
