I got out of Facebook/meta long long time back and not only they fallow you they sell all that they no of you.

Yes that may well be right but it's hard to get along without Facebook. Many sites require you to log in via Facebook. Online bookings are much easier with it than without.

What's really needed is either for strict controls to be brought to bear on Facebook, even breaking it up if necessary or for other social media networks to rapidly grow to counterbalance their power. Neither looks likely in the near future.

I'm banned but not sure why and attempts to get back have failed. Came close and got a welcome back message but a couple of days later was removed again. As I posted zilch and contacted nobody in that time it's strange. I will give it some thought and then at some point try again but it seems the odds are strongly against success.
