Fatal autonomous Uber crash could have been a result of improper sensor tuning, report...

You go ahead and try to ticket a few elk for that.
Why do you insist on comparing apples to oranges? You make it sound as if you think there is no need in trying to keep the roadway clear, since it is impossible to keep it that way at all times. Seriously I can't make anything else out from your words.

Sorry, I guess be smarter?

The irony behind telling someone else to be smarter, when you fail to understand the intelligence behind traffic regulations.
The tech failed plain and simple. It's not apples to oranges, an object in the street is an object in the street whether it is a jaywalking-law breaking human, an over sized couch or a big wild animal the tech failed to see it.... Where you got in the thinking of clearing the roadway is unnecessary beats me...wild animals don't follow traffic regulations, the hot water heater that some metal scrapper dug out of the trash and didn't tie down very well doesn't adhere to your traffic laws either......your reasoning is that the victim didn't follow the law..my reasoning is the tech failed at it's job along with the driver for ANY object in the road...it's not that hard....figure it out??
