Fell for Microsoft scam

  1. So I never knew about the scam before this happened, I was oblivious to what was happening. My laptop is a Dell Latitude D530.

Now I have the issue where the hacker configured a password onto my computer, but said the viruses wasn't removable, I doubt that much. So I called a repair shop to come over and fix the issue, but is the bios battery inside the computer, cause I don't see one underneath the battery.

    Windows 8.1

He said he could inspect it, free of charge. But said if I didn't like the price, I could turn him down.

You know what a Microsoft scam is right? They locked me out of my Laptop, so I'll need the password they used to configure it.

OK since I'm not there you have to tell me STEP BY STEP what exactly happened.
