Firefox 64 Linux Google Redirect

Tried the download and found my system being redirected to a Westhost server in Boulder, Co. Since there's a nice university there, the low functionally social paranoid that I am I followed up on Westhost and got some webhosting group out of Utah. After letting the initial connections expire, the download link took me to a New York Westhost link. Accepting that link allowed the download cleanly. Chased the lookups on Westhost, Inc. to a 206... IP address with no properly secured certificate. Changing to http alone got me 'secured server not allowed' error.
Nothing useful therein except a hosting company with an expired/other status security certificate.

Not sure what was your process there, but there's nothing out of the ordinary. Your download failed before because the file was not hosted properly in our server. We manually scan and host files before they are uploaded to our servers, it was simple human error.

Once we fixed it, the file was made available to download from an URL similar to this one: https://files03.tchspt.com/temp/firefox-74.0x86_64.tar.bz2

That's one of three files servers we use, all located in the US (Dallas and Salt Lake City). And yes, we always use HTTPS for communication.

I chose the default, non-specific which elsewhere picks the machine I'm on, 64bit PC
