Friend needs help jailbreaking her iPhone

How easy would it be for someone that's not so savvy to do this? I have no experience with apple products myself and was hoping someone on here would be willing to point us in the right direction. Thank you!

It's fairly simple to do as long as you don't have the latest version of iOS which will cripple the hacks that let you unlock... I suggest you go to the site below for further instructions:

The simplest of unlock methods is offered by http://jailbreakme.com as long as your OS version and baseband is not the most recent.
