I can easily live without Youtube. Some of the instructional vids are great, others maybe are well-intentioned but absolute carp. Much of the content is watching some fat geezer in a baseball cap with dirty fingernails taking a dozen screws out one by one and fiddling with his camera. I will never pay the Youtube monthly ransome to watch "ad free". I might one day be happy to pay for an ad blocker that can keep one step ahead of Youtube's popups.
