You're the one trying to turn this into a "corporate greed" discussion while ignoring the fact that consumers ultimately decide whether a price increase succeeds or fails.
Google can ask for whatever price it wants. Nobody is forced to pay it. If enough customers walk away, Google will feel it. If they don't, then the market has spoken.
So no, I don't support corporate greed. I support consumers taking responsibility and voting with their wallets instead of complaining while continuing to subscribe.
