Google search results being redirected

recently picked up some sort of virus that redirects me after clicking a google search link. i've tried running avg and spyware doctor, which avg didnt pick anything up and spyware doctor found and removed, but they are back after the reboot. mbam will not install, not sure why. Also when doing a reboot, my screen goes black and i have to reboot serveral time to get a normal start up, but i think that is a different problem, like my vid card has gone bad. I need help.

i was able to run ccleaner, but when i try and install mbam the program will not open or run. superantivirus won't even install.

Have you tired booting to Safe mode?.
You can still run the programs from there so see what happens. If not just try and get the hijackthis log.
Also to point out, when you do get the Hijackthis log right click and go to properties. Then rename the shortcut to something other than Hijackthis eg crusty.exe is a popular choice. Some malware can hide form the standard name so see what happens.
