Solved Got a C:\Windows\assembly\GAC\Desktop.ini virus

Okay, I couldn't set a system restore point (couldn't even find it when running services.msc) so I replaced the sys file with the XP discs. That seemed to solve the problem there. Ran the registry files, and now here is the latest FSS:
