Does anyone know which is better between using DP 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 For a GPU ?

Thanks, for the info. I'm having a problem with my monitor crashing randomly saying that it was not detecting a signal. So I've been trying different things, like changing the DP cable (was not it). I have my fingers crossed and think I may have fixed the problem by reseating my GPU. I recently upgraded a few things, GPU being one of them so it may have been a bad installation job that I did.
