Hard drive issues

  1. was repartioning my hard drive got to about 24 persent hard drive was making a scatchy noise and now it tells me there are no hard disk drivers tryind using recovery disk and cant install or repair. what do i need to do. also with turning battery around and reseting is that mother board or cpu. thaen how would i find a compatable one for a intel dbg850

    Question 1 Your HDD is screwed and you need a new one.

    Question 2 Turning the battery round is not a good idea, remove it, this will reset the BIOS to defaults.

    Question 3 sorry what do you want to find thats compatible, if you mean a Hard drive, then Ebay is a good bet or any PC shop.

    thanks for all the information i will try all if motherboard is shot then how would i go about finding a compatible one. its a intel dbg850 probally alot of work huh?

    did you read the post ?

    Its not your motherboard its your HDD, just buy another one...
