I've been troubleshooting an issue i noticed with System sounds over HDMI when connected to an ATI XFX Radeon HD 5450. In my case, i;ve isolated the problem to a specific scenario... Wondering if anyone else is noticing problems with playing system sounds (e.g dings, alerts, device insertion/removal tones, etc) over HDMI so we could compare notes.
If so, could you pls also state your System specs including OS, computer/make model and your HDMI card mfr/model
