Having problems install driver

I just upgrade my graphics card from Sapphire Radeon 2600 Pro 512MB to Diamond Radeon 5670 1GB, & my problem is I did uninstall the driver for my 2600 Pro 512 & the suite version from AMD's website 10.12. My Radeon 5670 1GB version 10.7 that was came on the cd, so I change the card from 2600 Pro 512MB to Radeon 5670 1GB & install the 10.7 suite & Diamond 10.7 XP Installing, & I got the error,

" Cannot Install this Software
There was a problem installing this hardware:
ATI Radeon HD 5600 Series

An error occurred during the installing of the device.
The parameter is incorrect."

MY OS is Windows XP Home SP3 with 2GB of DD2 RAM
This happening when the popup came up when I install the Radeon 5670 1GB.
So why is this happening?

please close this thread because I solve this problem by reinstalling Windows.

Sorry no one was able to help you before but sometimes that happens. I was wondering if you knew that the 10.7 suite is five months older than the 10.12 suite? You should use the newest one.
