Having trouble with my PC, keeps crashing

Hi I just signed up to this forum as I need help with my pc:

my specs are:
INTEL CORE 2 QUAD Q6600
ASUS P5N32-SLI PREMIUM N-FORCE 590 SLI MOTHERBOARD
+ WIRELESS NETWORK AND 700 WATT PSU WITH DDR2 800 MHZ MEMORY
NVIDIA 8500GT SLI 1024MB GRAPHICS CARD WITH TOTAL SLI GFX MEMORY
4096MB DDR2 MEMORY

I just formatted my hard disk and I have installed windows 7 64-bit on my pc, but it freezes sometimes before windows starts and sometimes just after windows has started, and other times it just freezes after a few hours, regardless it will freeze

can anyone help please - this is really annoying as I have lost alot of work due to this

Please check your system logs, go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, and open Event Viewer, review all logs but focus especially the ones with red/yellow tags.

I am assuming you are not getting any blue screen of death, if so, can you post your minidumps as well (from c:\windows\minidump).
