Having webcam driver issues

Hi, for the past few months I've been having webcam driver issues, skype wont work and I've tried to download other software to try and see if it works like ArcSoft Webcam Companion, and neither of them can detect my webcam.

I've tried to check the Sony Vaio Website for the missing drivers but couldn't find the one I needed. please help.

it use to work fine, but it had some problems and I had to set it back to factory settings and download what I usually need. then I started to have this issue.

Does that webcam support 64-bit OS. I ran into and issue with HP Webcam that didn't support 64-bit OS only 32-bit. Need to get a web cam that supports the 64-bit OS. That Arcsoft seems to be buggy also it came with the WebCam my GF gave me to use. Neither worked but her system has Logitech D600 that works without issues
