I was given a smartmodem300 and I'm trying to see if it works.
Win98 recognizes it as standard modem. I tried that then loaded the driver for smartmodem 1200 because that's as close as the options would go.
in diagnostics i just get error from all AT commands.
The manual doesn't say anything about drivers. Did they even exist in 1983?
All the dip switches are where they should be- I think.
Do I have to dust off my 386 DOS 3.1 system?
