Help installation

Hello!

I downloaded the sims 2 Well something went wrong, I installed it like the instructions except the part where we're supposed to install it on the C Disk. I didn't have space so I installed it on the other (D).

On the instructions they say:

3. Copy "Sims2EP6.exe" in "No-CD Fix" to: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Bon Voyage\TSBin - overwrite the existing file.

I'm supposed to overwrite the file thats on the (D) Disk?
Well thats what I did anyway. Now I don't know if thats the problem or if something else went wrong but when I try to open the game It keeps telling me to insert the write cd (and I do mount the write cd).

Any clue of whats wrong with it?

what are your specs?

excuse me, but how did you get sims 2? depending on the answer, this is not the place to talk about it
