Help with my graphics card

OK I got counter strike 1.6 and i always play it, but it lags so much, even without a lot of people and I know its gotta be with my video card.

Please tell me what graphic card i need to play it properly without lagging that is compatible with my computer
The game just freezes after a while, it works then it just freezes, or it blacks out
Please also I want to play counter strike source but I know it will freeze so i did not get it till I get a new video card
Please tell me a good one to get...Please Help me

Really "1.80ghz 768 RAM" is just too low spec for these types of games
You are best to upgrade your entire computer

Oh I edited above, take note:
