Help with Scanner

Don't know if this is the right place for this question, but here goes:

I have recently brought a scanner but when I run the Installation CD it says this installer is for Windows 98 or Window 95 OSRT. I have Windows XP. Is there any way I can use the scanner? Any help would be much appreciated.

Many older scanners do not have drivers for newer versions of Windows

What is the make and model of your scanner?

Its a Mustek SCANEXPRESS 1200 UB.
