Hi,

I'm trying to find a free hypervisor software which is suitable for homelabs.

The only real options I found are proxmox and redhat KVM are there any other alternatives worth looking at?

Both VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V have a free tier that are worth a look. I personally prefer ESXi.

I too am an ESXi user but am considering UnRaid which is not free but fairly inexpensive. One of the main features that is making me consider this is hardware passthrough.

Ye GPU passthrough would be helpful for some tasks.

Honestly I went with proxmox its meh at best.
