How can I uninstall the wrong audio driver?

I have been super impressed with everyone's help on this site. Thanks in advanced for your help.

Here is what has transpired up to this point:

I wasn't getting any sound. I noticed there was no audio device in the device manager. Instead of properly looking at all the incredible info I found on this site, I went to dell's website and installed what they recommended as the audio device. It is the ADI 198x integrated audio for my dell Optiplex GX260. I installed it and during the installation the screen went blue and then went black and never came back on. What has gone wrong? and What can I do to fix it?

You can try booting to Last Known Good configuration usually accessible pressing F8 before Windows begins to load. You can also try booting info safe mode and uninstall the driver.

thanks JMMD. Unfortunately my problem has grown. Now the computer turns on(fans are spinning, led's light up) but no display? any ideas?
