lol yea and my PSU sucks ontop of it all because i F'ed up and didnt see it wasnt sli ready BUT i thought it was broken when they sent it to me and i called them and they sent me a brand new one sooo now i have a back up new one lol

Doesn't matter if it says SLI ready. My power supply is a 460 watt Enermax, certainly would never be certified as "SLI-ready" because it doesn't have the wattage. But it's running my 8800GTS 512s in SLI and my overclocked Core 2 perfectly fine.

If I can run 2 8800GTS 512s on 460 watts, you can run a single GTX 260 or 280 on 600 watts without a doubt.

a gtx 260 only requires a 500W PSU so i think as long as your PSU holds up you would be fine. anyways the 9800GTX will be fine.
