Dear friends,

I am planning to buy a LED monitor. In my place there are branded LED monitors like samsung, asus, lg etc and unknown-branded monitors like vision, starex etc. The branded monitors have higher price compared to the unknown-branded monitors and both types of monitors carry similar warranty periods. How reliable and durable are such LED monitors from unknown brands? Is it worthy to buy such monitors?

Thanks in advance.

It's hard to say as they all seem to use high quality parts as well as cheap parts. And it is always hard to tell if you are simply paying for a name instead of quality. My advise would be to look up the device (any device) and see what the user reviews have to say. I would do this before buying anything, not just TVs.

I recommend you to go for the reliable brands specifically in case of electronics. Yes, unknown brands might have the best prices and specs, but they will lack after service. Also look out for user reviews available online.
