How to increase video memory

hello i am using hp laptop having 3GB ram,core 2 duo processor inside it.
i have installed a game named as GT a error A vice city. when i am tries to play it .its get message "yo donot have enough video memory available". please resolve my problem

Have a "chat" to HP
Some laptops Video memory (or even Video card) can be updated, and some cannot
