OUCH! Lot's of bias is showing there. Other than my Dell laptop, all our mobile devices are from Apple. Guess after a dozen years of helping others I'm STILL not techy, hey?
I hope you're joking because a friend of mine gave me his android so I could reset it & use it, yeah, right. That was 6 months ago & 3 people have tried to reset it. It was reset a total of 6 or 7 times but still asked for the gmail username/password when I tried to start using it. With these kinds of biased comments, consider the source, ignore their advice ( as it's not going to be objective) and consider not taking their future comments as useful of even valid.learninmypc said:

Long story short, with an iphone you simply go to setting, general,reset & in a few minutes its reset, no messing with any email address.
Believe me, it's not going to give me any sleepless nights.Also gives them more reason to ignore your help/input.
