I would never have guessed there were iPhone users using this site, they're just not a techy type lot but the same battery saving measures will apply to Android as well.

Hmmmm .... an iPhone? I'd say the best was it to turn it off then chuck it into the river ....

I hope you're joking because a friend of mine gave me his android so I could reset it & use it, yeah, right. That was 6 months ago & 3 people have tried to reset it. It was reset a total of 6 or 7 times but still asked for the gmail username/password when I tried to start using it. This is the thread I had then https://www.techspot.com/community/topics/android-help.233697/
Long story short, with an iphone you simply go to setting, general, reset & in a few minutes its reset, no messing with any email address. :)

With these kinds of biased comments, consider the source, ignore their advice ( as it's not going to be objective) and consider not taking their future comments as useful of even valid.

OUCH! Lot's of bias is showing there. Other than my Dell laptop, all our mobile devices are from Apple. Guess after a dozen years of helping others I'm STILL not techy, hey?
I love having a dig at Apple fans. 99% of them take my comments seriously and that's what gives me a bigger kick.

I think I hit the next arrow or skip to bypass Gmail login with my old Galaxy Note II when I was flashing custom ROMs.
