This was brought to me by a classmate who thinks i am a freak. The laptop started this issue about some days ago. The issue is that the laptop dies itself whether plugged or not after sometime of usage, or at times it will just bring up the LED and die immediately without coming up. He said if he leaves it for a while a day or two he can use it for about 30 mins before it dies.
I thought maybe it's overheating stuff. but i still feel the fan spinning and the vent ok. Can anyone give me a hint on this
Thanks in advance

The more it rests the more its uptime.

How can i check the cpu temperature?
Note* The system dies after a couple of minutes.

I tried removing the battery for a couple of hours to be sure is not capacitors / transient stuff, it still behaves the same.

i'd like to hear from anyone

I just use speccy just a fast easy program that will tell you your specs and your cpu temperature. It's nothing amazing but hey it tells you what you want to know.

And I know alot of Hp's have heating issues. I mean does it get really hot or is it unnoticeable?
