HP Photosmart printer Windows 10 problem

The drivers for my HP Photosmart 8150 printer will not load. I've tried the HP websites. Downloaded their "Add a Printer" software. It runs but does not see the printer. I've deleted the printer from "Devices and Printers". When I plug the USB cable it, Windows 10 finds it and loads it as shown in the attachment. Any suggestions (other than buying a new printer) would be most welcomed. I had no problem with Windows 7

Looks like a 'no support' issue. This may be a case of HP needs to create more e-waste in order to thrive.

Thanks for the recommendation. I read thru the chain and found the problem was not resolved for him either. HP support is of no use, they no longer support that printer.

Or my scanjet, etc. Makes me wonder why I paid so much for top quality engineering....oh, right, the old HP.
