Huge Problem. Please help

My computer had a bunch of viruses on it which I managed to clean out. But now I want to reinstall my Windows Vista. But there are a couple of problems.

1. When I click on "My Document" its says that it is not accesible and that access is denied.
2. When I try to reinstall Vista, it gives me an error and says that the "drives" cannot be found.

Can someone please help me with these problems? Thank you

My Documents will be wiped out when you reinstall Vista. Do you still need to get into that folder because if your first attempt to reinstall Vista had been successful, it would already be gone?

It appears that you will need to install SATA controller drivers during the process of installing Vista. Assuming you are using a SATA hard drive, it should then be recognized.
